The Metro connects all of Delhi’s landmarks to the city centre as well as suburbs, the new  way.  The revamped Indira Gandhi International airport- Terminal 3 for international and many domestic carriers operate, has facilities with the world’s most modern airports.

New Delhi is a symbol of the country’s rich past. The British has their empire in Delhi.  The city has reached the excellence of completing 100 years as a Capital. Many powerful empires in the past, its history can be traced in its preserved monuments, ancient forts and tombs. Among the prominent dynasties  made Delhi their capital were the Tughlaqs, the Khiljis and the Mughals. There are World Heritage monuments—Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb have survived many centuries and has architectural wonders created by emperors in the past. Delhi has also colonial past buildings – the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and India Gate. A number of musems provide a glimpse into the country’s fascinating history.

  1. After reaching Delhi, stay calm for a while. Explore Delhi by  visiting monuments- The Red Fort, Jama Masjid. Then visit Chandni Chowk.
  2. Next Day reached India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.
  3. Visit shopping malls, markets, handicraft stores and street food places.
  4. Visit Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and then departure.
