The Taj Mahal
The construction of Taj Mahal was completed in 1653. It took 21 years for completion. Shah Jahan was the son of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. He makes a tribute to Mumtaz Mahal, is known as The Taj Mahal. He makes Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz.
Khajuraho Temples
Khajuraho Temples were the beautiful monuments. These temples were built by the Chandella ruler. These temples were not made by single Chandella rulers. Temple building was done by all the rulers of Chandela dynasty.
Ajanta and Ellora Caves
Ajanta and Ellora caves comprise 34 caves at Ellora and 29 caves at Ajanta. The Ajanta caves were enriched in paintings and sculptures. The Ellora caves were known for their extraordinary architecture. The most incredible feature was that they were crafted with hammer and chisel.
Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri is a city in Northen India. It was founded by the Mughal Emperor. It consists of red sandstone cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza is the entrance to Jama Masjid Mosque. The Tomb of Salim Chisti. Diwan-E-Khas has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bai Palace is a blend of Hindu and Mughal styles.
