GULMARG OVERVIEW-
Gulmarg has a natural beauty. This is like a paradise on earth. Alpine mountains covered with snow. This magnificient place is full of adventure and a glimpse of Kashmir. Gulmarg is the ‘Heartland of Winter sports’. Asia’s largest and world’s second largest cable car project called Gulmarg Gondola. It connects Gulmarg with Aparwath Mountain for skiing on a snow-trail. Shark Fin is an awesome place for powder skiing. Gulmarg has the Golf Course in India. Khilanmarg is a fascinating place of Gulmarg. A frozen lake is a attraction in Gulmarg.

HOW TO VISIT GULMARG-
The Gulmarg airport is 56 kilometres away in Srinagar. It is well connected to major cities in India. Some of the trains are Jammu Rajdhani, Himgiri Express, Swarak Express, Andaman Express and Himsagar Express.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF GULMARG-
Gulmarg city is in the era of Emperor Jahangir. The Maharaja Palace was built by Maharaja Hari Singh. The Ski Club of India was set up to promote adventure sports. Gulmarg has been affirmed the Winter Games Capital of India by Winter Games Federation of India.
