Tapirs look something like pigs with trunks. They use this trunk to grab branches and clean them of leaves or to help pluck tasty fruit. They live in the forests and grasslands of Central and South America. They eats leaves, twigs, branches, buds, shoots, berries, fruits and aquatic plants. 

Topi

Size: 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet
Weight: 200 to 300 pounds
Lifespan: 15 years

The topi is a medium-sized antelope with a striking reddish-brown to purplish-red coat. They have good sight and hearing. They can run quite fast with a bounding gait.  They are found in dry areas of open savanna and park woodland.

Tasmanian Devil

Type: Mammal
Diet: Omnivore
Size: 57-65cm (22-27in)
Weight: 6-8kg (13-18lbs)
Top Speed: 24km/h (15mph)
Life Span: 5-8 years

The Tasmanian devil is a carnivorous marsupial. It has the appearance of a wild dog. They have long front legs and shorter rear legs, giving them a lumbering. It spends the day resting in burrows or grassy nests.

Tarantula

Size: Body: 4.75 in (12 cm) long; Leg span, up to 11 in (28 cm)

Tarantulas are hairy all over and are black and brown. They have eight legs. They eat bugs. They have many eyes. They are found in most of the world’s tropical, subtropical, and arid regions. They vary in color and behavior according to their specific environments. 

Turkey

Type: Bird
Diet: Omnivore
Size: 70-125cm (28-49in)
Wing Span: 150-180cm (59-71in)
Weight: 3-11kg (6.6-24lbs)
Top Speed: 10km/h (6mph)
Life Span: 1-10 years
Group: Flock

The turkey is a large bird. It is round looking bird that has long, thin legs with three toes on each foot to help with balance and for scratching around in the dirt. They are found naturally in the open forests of North America. It eats nuts, seeds, fruits, berries and insects.
